Talent Match Staffordshire is a new and exciting Lottery funded project that supports young people into employment and helps young entrepreneurs to set up their own business. The project is currently being delivered in the districts of Lichfield, Cannock and Newcastle-under-Lyme for those aged 18-24 years who have been out of employment, education or training for over 12 months.
I was approached by Talent Match Staffordshire to design their annual review to accompany a series of printed collateral that was produced within the team. The project is directed by young people for young people, so the design of the corporate report was a reflection on this and also a celebration of their first year in business. From the initial brainstorming meeting, it was clear that the review needed to be visual engaging to make the delivered results easy to understand and to inspire others. The layout is influenced by the TM logo which acts both as a target and as a positive drive for the youth action teams. Facts & figures were transformed into vibrant infographics for easier & faster communication to the wider audience. The review was also purposely specified to a minimum page count to help keep the relevant information concise, as well as keeping printing costs low.
